Watchers 10 Review/Discussion/Etc.

This is more like a review/rambling stream of consciousness information overload but hopefully I’m able a review/rambling information overload discussion fodder write-up.  😉

Be gentle. 🙂

INTRODUCTION:

Watchers 10 brings three years of research up to date including the latest preliminary DNA test results that beg for further research. There is finally some meaningful preliminary DNA results in addition to a jaw dropping disclosure that is largely known on the Internet by now.

This Watchers entry will definitely be remembered for the “fairy creature” the most but there is plenty more where that came from.

Its companion book, Nephilim Hybrids, goes into further detail than is possible in a video documentary. The book title is attention grabbing and the phrase is used loosely by Marzulli’s own admission because according to him he really doesn’t know what else to call some of these creatures and anomalies.
I deliberately waited to write this because I wanted to see what the reactions and criticism were and see if any updates occurred since filming and indeed they did with a July 20th post script on L.A. Marzulli’s blog that indicated a stinger on the tail of the so-called “fairy creature” that’s at the center of this particular documentary. So with that in mind:

Kandahar Giant sequence:

This was picking up a thread about a story that surfaced nearly ten years ago courtesy of Steve Quayle and a segment on Coast to Coast. Now while these names may be varying degrees of sketchy for a lot of people who issue here is: Ten years later there was and is enough follow-up that there may be something to it. When you get three ex military people protected, on the record, saying the same things without any collusion, and the story never changes over the course of a decade including at least one of them being emotional about the death of his squadmate and friends at the hands of this giant it begs for further scrutiny instead of quick and easy dismissal and especially in light of other recent discoveries along these lines.

Even I myself have run across the occasional stray rumor.  This sort of thing is “common folklore and legend” now but it may be based on truth or at least a grain of it.

I can’t beat having LA himself walk us through it better than I ever could:

and more recently to another updated topic, the Catalina Giants, here:

Skulls of Paracas: The reason the documentary’s subtitle is called DNA is because meaningful preliminary DNA results are in and they have been three years in the making. The results that still suggests “out of place” for geography some of these were found. Needs more testing certainly and in progress.
Last not but not least: “The Fairy Creature” which is what likely pushed things over the top to produce Watchers 10 and make it worthwhile. This has been an Internet sensation since the story broke.

The full documentary and book go into much further detail on a lot of that but there is enough there that I think most people who give it a fair look and hearing would have a lot of questions and want to find out more about what’s going on here.
According to Marzulli and Shaw, they knew about this creature but were put under a tight gag order for nearly three years over it.

There has been some salient criticisms and questions out there and the expected bizarre sea of Proverbs 18:13 and “the lady doth protest too much, methinks” from frankly some of the usual suspects and their allies.

I can’t help but question the motives of certain repeat offenders of the above who keep doing this and meanwhile it’s painfully obvious they really haven’t bothered to give what’s available a careful and thorough run through.

The eye opening centerpiece of this particular Watchers is, of course, the now notorious “fairy creature.” Theories abound…hoax accusations are easy and plentiful… and for all that we’re still well into preliminary phases of research.

I’m skeptical as well. It would be very easy to write this off as a hoax.

Here is the difference: None of the Merryman or other similar items has X-rays and nuts and bolts walkthroughs with  with documentation and expert takedowns to go with it like this “thing” does.
If the creature holds out as “not hoax” then my own personal theory is that it could have been something that slipped out of a lab that shouldn’t have.

Consider these recent stories out of the mainstream media and these go to why I’m not eager to throw  the hoax flag without careful scrutiny:

https://www.newscientist.com/article/2076681-inside-the-cloning-factory-that-creates-500-new-animals-a-day
If classified circles are at least 10-20 years ahead of the mainstream by the most conservative of estimates why is it some outrageous reach that some abomination might have slipped out of a lab somewhere, assuming this isn’t a hoax?

Thus far, the preliminary data and DNA testing on all of this has it where the mitochondrial DNA from three different DNA testing groups says Europe and Middle East on skulls thus far. That demands further scrutiny and research.

I am hardly a medical technician or expert and I had no problems following the information provided and I am grateful for it. Because there are so many frauds and hoaxes and everyone is understandably jaded by these things, any serious work has to have all of its i’s dotted and t’s crossed.
PRODUCTION:

As per usual, the production values and presentation are sizzling and top-notch. It takes a special level of talent to have a few sequences where we get into the aforementioned nuts and bolts and to keep things moving and engaging and Richard Shaw does exactly that. On certain setups some people have complained that the music mix was on the loud side and interfered with volume of voices. I didn’t have that issue on my setup but this could be “your mileage may vary.” Usually the mix of music with the rest of the audio has been done with care to not be obnoxious and distract from the content and that’s the case here again by and large.

This is indeed a top flight Watchers production which means the 90 minutes or so running time blazes by you are taken by surprise when it’s suddenly over with. I couldn’t take my eyes off the screen and regardless of varying views, neither will most others who watch this.

Everything about the production crackles and sizzles from start to finish and I am constantly amazed at how they bring these Watchers films together the way they do considering they are hardly running a Lucasfilm caliber budget. I don’t know how they do it. 🙂
CONCLUSION:

Gadzooks!   What else can you say when you take on something like this?

If you actually made your way through this tome then you deserve a cookie. 🙂

I’m honestly not sure where things can go from here with a lot of this until there are more tests which costs lots of money and take time. There are so logistical issues including not the least of which is international considerations and the near impossibility of getting some things in and out of the United States.

This was three years’ worth of research from several Watchers films that needed updating and so they put it out there.

They are at the mercy of so many elements, much of which are beyond their control. Logistics, cost, getting things in and out of the country, travel, availability… it all adds up and it’s a “as the Lord leads” situation. All of this is still well within preliminary research phases and no one outside of certain third-party hype mongering Internet sites has said or pretended otherwise. I am amazed things have even gotten this far and I am honestly not sure how much further it can go without at least one major breakthrough.
This can be an issue for some of these “Nephilim and skulls” focused projects and frankly the subject matter isn’t for everyone. That’s OK! I know that’s some of the criticism out there that ranged from both salient to attacks. Anyone who watches Watchers 10 and reads the companion book should come to the conclusion that there was enough to make the entire project worthwhile and I don’t want to suggest or infer otherwise.

That’s not disparaging this kind of work or covering at all but I know that there is a lot of thought, prayer, and preparation and months of work that goes into making this kind of project but it’s a fair question a lot of us ask: How does this affect me and how does this have any bearing on my daily life and/or walk with the Lord and these are very fair questions.  This isn’t a place a lot of people want to spend a lot of time in and I’m one of them. I take it for what it’s worth in the larger tapestry and move on. 🙂

For things like what this specific documentary focuses on I admit these answers are not nearly as easy to come up with like they were on a Watchers 9 where we all know that when a major war in the Middle East breaks out or severe famines issues escalate that these things absolutely will have immediate impact on a large number of us. Watchers 9 is my personal all around favorite to date followed by Watchers 7, which is the best modern UFO documentary I’ve ever seen.

On the table under the PP&S umbrella is where this subject matters comes into play as well. Jesus warned us that it would be like the days of Noah and Lot in the season leading up to His return and if these are the sorts of things that are becoming prevalent and unearthed then we need to take notice of it, take it for what it’s worth, and see it all at least as that much more confirmation that what the Bible says is true. To that end, I certainly enjoyed watching Watchers 10 even though some of the content clearly isn’t easy viewing and I certainly appreciate what it’s about and the importance behind getting the information out.
